During the last months, the partnership successfully implemented the jobpackage courses with immigrant women in partner countries (Denmark, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Lithuania).
The jobpackage courses have been implemented online and face to face, giving participants the opportunity to learn in a safe and comfortable environment.
The main topics that have been covered during the jobpackage courses are the following:
- Personal and everyday coping skills
- Social skills
- Health awareness
- Language skills
-
Digital skills
- Employability skills
In deepening the topics of the job package courses, the participants were supported by relevant experts and stakeholders in different areas of expertise. Indeed, the partnership worked for the establishment of cross-sectoral Jobpackage Councils consisting of relevant stakeholders such as local companies, job centres, social and healthcare authorities, vocational and other educational institutions, to advise and facilitate the planning and provision of the activities with the participants.
With the help of the trainers and the support of the job council members, the participants were able to explore crucial issues for their personal and professional development.
Furthermore, through a comprehensive initial clarification process, the women drew up an individual progression plan which is continuously evaluated on the basis of a comprehensive evaluation system, combining self-evaluation and monitoring activities. Therefore, an assessment tool has been developed to assess the women’s background and progress throughout their participation in the Jobpackage course.
The assessment tool is perceived as an integral part of the jobpackage concept, evaluation and reflection on the women’s progression. It is an essential tool to evaluate the achieved results and to reflect on methods to strengthen the individual woman’s progress, motivation and positive prospects for change.
