Per la seconda ci siamo serviti di brevi video umoristici seguiti da discussioni. Per quanto riguarda il primo tema, invece, dal momento che solo una partecipante ha preso parte all\u2019incontro, abbiamo discusso e mostrato alla donna i vari strumenti attraverso la condivisione dello schermo.<\/p>\n Il metodo utilizzato per la seconda sessione si \u00e8 rivelato un successo, dal momento che affrontava un tema di attualit\u00e0 come le notizie false quando la pandemia e il COVID 19 costituivano i principali argomenti di discussione a livello globale. Le spiegazioni si sono rivelate piuttosto interessanti. Sono stati mostrati 3 brevi video sulle notizie false, al termine dei quali la formatrice ha invitato le partecipanti a discutere. Il dibattito \u00e8 stato piuttosto animato, poich\u00e9 molte hanno manifestato delle preoccupazioni riguardo al rapporto dei loro figli con internet. Sono stati condivisi consigli e accorgimenti per individuare le notizie false e fonti inaffidabili, per la gioia delle partecipanti. In questo caso la buona pratica \u00e8 stata mostrare loro dei brevi video, pi\u00f9 coinvolgenti della semplice spiegazione, e\u00a0 permettere loro di esprimere i diversi punti di vista in merito. I video sono sempre un ottimo modo per accendere l\u2019interesse, tuttavia bisogna sceglierne di brevi e mirati e permettere alle partecipanti di discutere una volta terminata la sessione. Especially for the second one, we used mainly short videos that had an element of humour, as well as a follow-up discussion afterwards. For the first session plan, since only one participant connected to the Zoom meeting, we had a discussion and the trainer shared her screen to demonstrate the Google Workspace.<\/p>\n The methodology of the session plan \u201cSpotting fake news\u201d was especially successful, as it addressed a very hot topic, fake news, in a period when the pandemic and COVID-19 is at the centre of most discussions, globally. The presentations were quite interesting; the trainer played 3 short videos on fake news and after the end of each video, she prompted a discussion among the participants. The discussions were lively, and all women were engaged, as they all had concerns about fake news especially with regards to what their children watch on the internet. We shared tips and some very smart ways of recognising fake news and unreliable sources, and all participants were very pleased by the end of the session. The good practice here was showing the (short) videos, which is always a much more engaging way of delivering a topic rather than just presenting and allowed the participants to express their own views about each video. Videos are always a great way to make a training more interesting, but keep them short, on-the-point and allow for a discussion afterwards.
