Di seguito elenchiamo le sessioni implementate nel corso del modulo: Le mie competenze personali e sociali a lavoro, Le parole chiave del mio lavoro, Come comunicare in un contesto professionale<\/em>. Le sessioni si sono tenute nel corso di diverse giornate.<\/p>\n

La metodologia si basa su una combinazione di spiegazioni dei materiali attraverso presentazioni PowerPoint, volte ad incoraggiare discussioni fra le e i partecipanti. Le partecipanti hanno potuto migliorare le loro competenze linguistiche svolgendo i compiti a casa ed esercitandosi con la pronuncia nel corso delle sessioni successive.<\/p>\n

Sessione: \u201cLe mie competenze personali e sociali al lavoro\u201d: prima dell\u2019inizio della sessione abbiamo dato alle partecipanti il compito di tradurre tutte le competenze sociali e personali dall\u2019inglese al lituano. Quindi abbiamo discusso della correttezza delle traduzioni. Durante il dibattito abbiamo operato una distinzione fra competenze personali e sociali. Le partecipanti hanno avuto la possibilit\u00e0 di riflettere sull\u2019importanza per loro rivestita da queste competenze, quelle che possiedono gi\u00e0 o che vorrebbero avere o aggiungere alla lista.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Sessione: \u201cLe parole chiave del mio lavoro\u201d. Quest\u2019attivit\u00e0 \u00e8 stata data alle partecipanti come compito a casa, affinch\u00e9 potessero presentarla nel corso dell\u2019incontro successivo. L\u2019esercizio si basava sulla raccolta di parole importanti nel loro ambito professionale che avrebbero anche dovuto tradurre in lituano.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Sessione: \u201cEssere in grado di presentarsi in un contesto professionale\u201d. Quest\u2019attivit\u00e0 \u00e8 stata data alle partecipanti come compito a casa, affinch\u00e9 potessero presentarla nel corso dell\u2019incontro successivo. L\u2019esercizio si basava sulla creazione di una breve presentazione personale contenente informazioni quali: nome, percorso di studi, esperienze lavorative e motivazioni. Alle partecipanti \u00e8 stato chiesto di tradurre il testo elaborato e presentarsi in lingua lituana.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Sessione: \u201cCome comunicare in un contesto professionale\u201d. Quest\u2019attivit\u00e0 \u00e8 stata data alle partecipanti come compito a casa, affinch\u00e9 potessero presentarla nel corso dell\u2019incontro successivo. L\u2019esercizio prevedeva che le partecipanti traducessero i nomi dei vari reparti del supermercato in lituano e scattassero delle foto di diversi prodotti allo scopo di memorizzarne i nomi.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Inoltre, \u00e8 stato loro chiesto di pensare a e tradurre in lituano delle brevi frasi da utilizzare al supermercato (ad esempio, per cercare un prodotto).<\/p>\n

          Infine, abbiamo invitato le donne a tradurre le principali frasi da utilizzare per servirsi dei mezzi pubblici ed \u00e8 stato presentato loro il funzionamento del sistema di trasporto pubblico in Lituania dal momento che ne hanno sottolineato l\u2019utilit\u00e0. Abbiamo anche fatto loro conoscere uno strumento digitale gratuito per imparare la lingua lituana attraverso la cultura e la gastronomia: https:\/\/learninglibrary.eu\/<\/a><\/p>\n

          Alle partecipanti \u00e8 stato chiesto di tradurre le parole dall\u2019inglese al lituano a casa e di imparare a presentarsi, a comunicare all\u2019interno di un supermercato, i dei trasporti pubblici, in diverse situazioni sociali, al lavoro e definire diverse competenze. Tutte le partecipanti sono riuscite a portare a termine i compiti a casa e hanno presentato il loro lavoro nel corso delle sessioni online. Le loro traduzioni sono state corrette dal gruppo che si occupa della formazione. Inoltre, le partecipanti hanno potuto esercitarsi con la pronuncia. Gli esercizi sono stati assegnati con cadenza settimanale in base al tema affrontato nella sessione successiva: salute, competenze sociali, presentazione del proprio profilo, ecc.<\/p>\n

          Il modulo e le sue attivit\u00e0 hanno permesso alle partecipanti di esercitarsi con il lituano dal momento che era uno degli obiettivi che si erano prefissate. <\/p>\n

          Opinioni delle partecipanti e di chi ha curato la sessione<\/strong><\/h2>\n

          Le partecipanti hanno espresso un\u2019opinione molto positiva sul modulo, ritenuto particolarmente importante dal momento che ognuna di loro desiderava migliorare la propria padronanza del lituano. Hanno preso attivamente parte alle attivit\u00e0 e presentato i compiti svolti. Pensiamo che sia utile assegnare alle partecipanti dei compiti di traduzione per permettere loro di imparare parole nuove. Inoltre, hanno potuto provare emozioni positive grazie al clima instauratosi in quanto il gruppo si \u00e8 rivelato molto disponibile e gentile e le attivit\u00e0 facili da svolgere.<\/p>\n

The session plans were implemented through few different meetings on different dates.\n\nThe methodology in general was based on merging theoretical presentations of the material through PowerPoint, encouraging discussions between participants. Language learning was based on giving participants homework assignments to translate certain words related to the topics and practice pronunciation during the meetings.\n

          1. <\/em><\/strong>Session plan \u201cMy personal and social skills at work\u201d:<\/em> Before the session we gave participants a homework task to translate all social and personal skills that are indicated in the session plan from English into Lithuanian language. During the session we discussed whether the translations are correct. Through a discussion we also marked which skills are personal and which ones are social. Participants were also asked to reflect whether these skills are important for them, what skills do they already have or would like to have and what other skills that are important would they add to the list.<\/li>\n \t
          2. <\/em><\/strong>Session plan \u201cThe most important words in my profession\u201d<\/em>: This exercise was given to participants as a homework assignment and during the following session they presented their work. The exercise was based on collecting words that are important to their profession (or desired profession) and we also asked to translate them into Lithuanian language.<\/li>\n \t
          3. <\/em><\/strong>Session plan \u201cShort presentation of myself\u201d<\/em>: This exercise was given to participants as a homework assignment and during the following session they presented their work. The exercise was based on creating a short presentation of themselves including name, education, work experience and motivation to work. Participants were asked to translate this presentation into Lithuanian language and present it in Lithuanian during the session.<\/li>\n \t
          4. <\/em><\/strong>Session plan \u201cHow to communicate at work in a supermarket\u201d<\/em>: This exercise was given to participants as a homework assignment and during the following session they presented their findings. The exercise asked participants to translate provided food sections names into Lithuanian language and also take few photos in a supermarket of different products and learn their Lithuanian names. Participants also were asked to think of a few sentences on how to ask something in a supermarket (for example, If they are looking for something) and also translate them into Lithuanian.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\nAdditionally, we also developed a task for participants to translate main words for using public transport into Lithuanian and at the same time to learn how the public transport works in Lithuania as participants highlighted that it is relevant for them. Also we introduced a free digital tool for participants to learn Lithuanian language on culture and cooking: https:\/\/learninglibrary.eu\/<\/a><\/span>.\n

              Examples of implementation:<\/h2>\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=\"4.15\" _module_preset=\"default\" link_font=\"||||on||||\" link_text_color=\"#EC6E62\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]\n\nOne of the best practices for this module was that participants translated English words into Lithuanian as homework assignments and could learn few main words to present themselves, communicate in a supermarket, public transport, social situations, workplace and define different skills. All participants willingly accomplished these tasks as homework and presented their work during the online sessions. Their translations were corrected by trainers if there were any mistakes and participants could also practice the correct pronunciation of the translated words. Participants were highly engaged in the activities and always willingly presented their homework tasks. We found it useful to give participants homework for translating certain words and phrases as by practical activities it is more likely to learn new words.
